About Adrienne.

Adrienne Matthews, sole owner and CFO (Chief Fabric Operator) of C&K Design is a born and bred Tarheel. She got her start in 2006 under the guidance of Jean Chadwick, owner of a drapery and upholstery workroom for over 30 years. Prior to launching C&K Design, LLC, Adrienne worked three years with Elle Pea Online designing and sewing children’s wear.​

​Adrienne is a native of Jacksonville, NC, which is located on the coast. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Adrienne moved to Charlotte, NC in the summer of 2001 where she was employed for four years by Bank of America. Following a career in banking, Adrienne obtained an associate’s degree in Interior Design from Central Piedmont Community College. She is a member of the Window Coverings Association of America, the Vice President of the WCAA Charlotte Chapter and the President of the Greater Charlotte Workroom Association. She is an audio book listener (while she works) and helps out as much as she can with Fashion and Compassion (fashionandcompassion.com).  Adrienne continues to reside in Charlotte with her husband and two daughters.
